The Washington Park Alliance has hired Rick Williams, a Parking and Transportation Consultant, to evaluate the access, circulation and parking situation within Washington Park and to suggest improvements. If you missed the 4/27 neighborhood workshop (sponsored by the Washington Park Alliance) or would like to come and hear some of the solutions he may be proposing, please attend our Arlington Heights Neighborhood meeting on Monday, May 9 at 5:30 at the Sylvan Fire Station.
The bond measure is enabling the Oregon Zoo to make significant improvements and the Japanese Garden is currently fundraising for a major expansion, both which will increase traffic to our neighborhoods. This is the time to voice our neighborhood concerns and be a part of the planning process.
