The workshop is for all Arlington Heights residents ages 14 and up. The city recommends youth be accompanied by an adult. The Zoom link will be posted on the Arlington Heights page of Nextdoor by Tuesday, November 9 or you can email board@arlingtonheightspdx.org to request it.
The Personal Safety Workshop introduces a variety of self-protective and self-empowerment options in an engaging, non-physical, discussion-based format. Learn more about self and situational awareness, practice assertiveness and explore options for de-escalation, avoidance of and escaping from situations that feel unsafe.
