The OREGON ZOO is holding free public open houses this coming Saturday August 6 from 9 am to noon and Monday August 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Zoo exhibit designs, parking ideas and pertinent land use information will be on display in the Cascade Crest banquet room, lower floor of the Cascade Grill. There will be lots of staff on hand to chat and answer questions and they will again show a video and have a formal welcome from officials. If you aren’t available for one of these events, they will leave the materials on display in the afternoons from noon to 5:00 Saturday the 6th through Tuesday the 9th for you to drop in and cruise museum-style on your own.
