Over 30 neighbors came out for AHNA’s 2024 Clean-up Event Saturday, June 22, 2024 with Shred Northwest. At our fourth annual spring clean-up event neighbors enjoyed coffee and conversation with each other and representatives of AHNET, the Washington Park and Zoo Railway Team and Portland Fire and Rescue and members of our neighborhood team to learn about the Firewise program in Arlington Heights.
All these locally-led groups are working to ensure our safety, preserve the unique features of our neighborhood and strengthen our community. The AHNA Board thanks everyone who contributes to our events by participating and spreading the word, as well as those who pursue the grants that make our clean-up events possible.
This year’s event was funded by NWNW and Portland’s Office of Civic Life.
